Today some Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay footage of an apparent developer’s demo reel has surfaced.
NeoGAF user Taker34, reports he “just found an interesting video/reel on a website of a certain developer who is currently working on Andromeda. The clip contains a few seconds of gameplay, so I thought you guys might want to take a look at it.”
You’ll notice the video features a jetpack ability, which lets players jump into the air for a short period of time.
One user reported however that the footage is from 2014. “It doesn’t look like this now,” they said.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is an upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It is a sequel to Mass Effect 3 and was officially announced on June 15, 2015 during the Electronic Arts press conference at E3.
Players are able to play as either a male or female human character. They will be able to pilot the new Mako, a six-wheeled buggy-type vehicle seen in the reveal trailer and driven in the first Mass Effect game.
The game takes place long after the events of the first three Mass Effect games in the Andromeda Galaxy.
