Square Enix has announced today that Final Fantasy XV, the much-anticipated latest installment of the celebrated Final Fantasy series, will be available worldwide on September 30th, 2016.
The news was revealed by Square Enix at a live event broadcast on their Twitch channel. They also revealed that there will be 2 Collector’s Editions for the game. The first is the Ultimate Collector’s Edition. It includes a 192 page art book, Brotherhood, special Blu-Ray OST, Kingsglaive, DLC and a special Play Arts Kai figure of Noctis. This edition is limited to 30,000 worldwide and preorders will open at 9:00 p.m. PST on the Square Enix Store. Check out a picture, below.
The second is a Deluxe Edition, which includes a steelbook and a Blu-Ray copy of the special OST Kingsglaive, plus DLC. It offers a bit of a smaller package for those who don’t want to buy all of the items in the Ultimate Collector’s Edition. Here is an image of the second package:
Final Fantasy will be on Xbox One and PS4 on September 30th, 2016. It will be only on the Xbox One and PS4 – sorry PC owners, no version for you apparently.
