Get The Horizon Promo Perk

As you play, you’ll earn Skill Points to redeem on various perks with a variety of different features, from additional horn sounds to XP boosts. However, one particular perk is the “Horizon Promo” perk. This perk brings back a feature from Forza Horizon 2 where you can take pictures of cars and earn CR (in game money) for each unique picture. (Note: you can only get credit for taking a cars picture once, but there are 425 cars to take pictures of!). To help expedite your photo taking: at the start of each race, just before the cars are leave the starting line, go into photo mode and snap some shots while all the cars bunched together.  It’s possible to sometimes get five or more vehicles in one picture! You’ll also get an added reward for every 20 cars photographed.

Stick With Festival Locations You’re Good At

Don’t spend a moment worrying about which Festival location you want to unlock when the choice becomes available. Eventually, you’ll unlock them all anyway. However, I will say that I personally enjoyed the “Outback” location the most during my time with Forza Horizon 3. The same goes for upgrading Festival locations, but you will benefit more by upgrading Festivals in locations that you’ve had more success with. For example, if city driving is your preference, upgrade the “Surfer’s Paradise” location to unlock more events in that area.

Check The Forza Hub Frequently

As soon as you start playing Forza Horizon 3, be sure to check out the Forza Hub (you can access it from the pause menu). If you’ve played previous Forza games, you’ll automatically get some bonus CR (in game money). The first time I visited the Forza Hub while playing Horizon 3, I earned 320,000 CR! It’s also a good idea to check back from time to time for additional rewards.
