PS4 DualShock 4 and Alien Covenant are a match made in heaven
XQ Gaming is a modification and customization site based out of the Netherlands with a focus on the PlayStation family of products. Everything from custom skins to light bar stickers and unique DualShock 4 controllers for the PS4, you can find it for sale on their site. One of their newest projects is a totally badass Alien Covenant inspired DualShock 4 that’s already shaping up to be an amazing piece of work.
In this first shot, you can see the work that it takes just to mold the shape of the controller. An XQ Gaming spokesperson working on the project stated, “This kind of controller costs upwards of €1500 ($1650 USD), and have 50+ hours work into them.”
You can clearly see the immense amount of detail put into the controller in the early stages. The next couple shots give you a look at the controller put together with a rough coat of paint on it to give it that more worn look. There’s still a long way to go but there’s no denying that Xenomorph head on the front of the controller looks amazing already.
That’s as much of a tease that XQ Gaming is willing to give us at this point but you can keep an eye on their YouTube channel for a video showing the completed product later this month.
