Any DC Character Can Be Personalized into Your Character
We have been awaiting more news from Warner Bros. pertaining to the gear system of Injustice 2. And just like that, they’ve fulfilled our yearning. While we knew NetherRealm had a gear system in place to boost abilities, there was never a comprehensive showcase… until now. Check out the new customization features in “Injustice 2: Your Battles Your Way”:

As you can see, NetherRealm has given special attention to customization in Injustice 2. Instead of just playing as your favorite characters, you can personalize them. Grab gear and fight as you see fit, with the look you like and the bonuses you prefer. Everyone has their playstyle, and it seems this iteration of Injustice will better facilitate how the players play, something that has never been done in a NetherRealm game.
Furthermore, considering the large roster of characters, there are thousands of items and many gear sets to unlock. Gear directly affects health, defense, strength, and special abilities. Naturally, however, NetherRealm leaves us to conjecture over multiplayer matchmaking and how it will account for gear disparity. At this point, we simply await the know-how.
Indeed, Injustice 2 will have in-game currency, but the game’s economy has yet to be explained at length. By our current understanding, gear will be obtainable through both multiplayer and single-player.
