Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date Potentially Leaked – Rumors Abound

One Gamer Retailer May Have Jumped the Gun

The bigger the game, the greater the chance of rumors surrounding it. But it’s worth taking a look at this one for Red Dead Redemption 2. While, certainly, nothing has been confirmed, a UK-based gaming retailer has set a listing for Rockstar’s game in question. Along with it, a release date for September 26, 2017. See the game’s listing and decide for yourself whether it might be true.

Of course, this contradicts what Take-Two announced some time back about a 2018 release.

Leaked from the retailer known as Base, we could have the real thing on our hands. Either way, it is likely a mishap on the part of the retailer–because they jumped the gun or delivered a ball-park placeholder. One outlet even noted that this release date of September 26, 2017, falls on a Tuesday. Tuesday marks our favorite day of the week, a day where just about every major game sees release.

Moreover, every other game with a placeholder release date has December 31st, 2017, listed. RDR2 stands out; therefore, the gaming retailer may–indeed–be in the know.

Rockstar Red Dead Redemption 2 Tease 2

Ever since the first Red Dead Redemption, anticipation for a sequel has been high. And for anyone who doesn’t know, the events of Red Dead Redemption 2 shall take place prior to what we witnessed in the first.  Additionally, Rockstar will deliver extra content to multiplayer with the same level of insight given to GTA V. Expect to see it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while a Switch release has yet to be confirmed (but unlikely).

But what do you think? Is this retailer, Base, messing with us or is this the real deal? Are you looking forward to seeing Red Dead Redemption 2 released this fall? Comment down below and do let us know your thoughts. Then keep up with us for more of the latest gaming news. Have a glorious day.
