A New Content Patch for Mafia III Adds Races and Car Customization

New Patch Details for Mafia III

Today, Hangar 13 released a new patch for Mafia III bringing loads of new content to the game. From races and car customizations, to additional cars and outfits, this patch gives players content they have been asking for since launch. Now everyone can ride around New Bordeaux in style!

Something that has been highly requested by Mafia III players since its release has been the ability to customize Lincoln’s fleet of cars (10 in total). While six cars are earnable through out the game, there are three cars available for anyone who bought the Family Kick Back. This pack was originally a pre-order exclusive, but is now available for anyone who wants to buy it for $5 USD. There is also a 10th car that can be unlocked through victory in the races, which are also now available to play. The car customizations are available at all of the Big Rick’s garage locations around the city, offering over 50 different options.

These customization options, much like the 10th car, are unlockable through the new races. There are 12 races in total, six of which are circuit lap races, and six that are point-to-point races. In order to compete in races, players will need to have completed the first meeting with all three lieutenants. After this meeting, “race markets” will appear on the map. If you get first place in each of the 12 races you will unlock the 10th car permanently which can be added to your fleet of vehicles. This 10th car is called the Griffin Marauder, which you can check out below.

Hangar 13 has also announced that the update includes new outfits for Lincoln, including “On the Prowl” and “Bad, Bad Mr. Burke” which comes with a mustache and a flat hat. For players who wish to link their My2K account to Mafia III, they will get a three-piece suit called the “Classico,” as well as the “II Duca,” a custom revolver. There are more updates coming our way sometime early next year. These are to include more customization options, as well as performance boosts to the 10 cars of your fleet. Keep it locked for news on these upcoming updates and check out the update trailer below.
