Dishonored 2 Sees a Whopping 9GB Day One Patch
Ok, so we’re no strangers to Day One patches anymore but many gamers have serious limits on their internet download speeds and allowances. That’s why when news of a 9GB patch floats around people tend to get a little ornery. For many of us we’ve got lightning fast speeds and no download caps but if we didn’t we’d likely be ornery too. Bethesda’s latest release, Dishonored 2 is just the latest game to see a massive day one patch. For now we can only confirm this on the Xbox One side of things as seen below but it’s very likely we’ll see a similar patch hitting PS4.
If we want to look for the positive in this it’s that Arkane Studios worked as hard as they could to make sure things were as perfect as possible for the game even after it went gold and hit the manufacturer.
Releasing this Friday, Nov 11th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, Dishonored 2 looks to be one of the must-have games of the year, Our own Steven Ritz was on hand at a recent media event in LA and had a ton of good things to say including, “Dishonored 2 cannot come out soon enough. I eagerly await my chance to delve deeper into the rich world the team at Arkane Studios has created.”
