It’s time to help Link escape the Koholint Island by collecting magical instruments and awakening the Wind Fish. Although it may be 26 long years later since The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was originally released for the Game Boy, it has now been officially reborn on the Nintendo Switch. Despite a ton of games in the franchise being released for various platforms since then, it’s hard not to get excited about a whole new feel to an all-time classic title. So it is really as good as we all hoped it would be? As it turns out, yes it is. From beginning to end it features everything great about the original title and classic Zelda games, whilst offering up a fresh new feel. From the gorgeous graphics, to a brand new controller setup that does away with the two-button limits Link’s Awakening is set to feel brand new all over again. Add some brand new secrets and some small, but overwhelmingly helpful changes to the mix and fans of the original title are going to be hooked all over. And for all those new timers who are taking a slash at this game for the first time, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is set to be one hell of an adventure. In fact, Link’s Awakening proves once again that The Legend of Zelda franchise is one of the greatest of all time.
