Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta Gameplay
Prepare for your first catch of the day taking down the rebel scum. Pop on that iconic white helmet and head into the field, Battlefront 2 has been going strong in the open beta. EA Studios and DICE have created something monumental with Star Wars Battlefront 2: a jaw-dropping and gorgeous tale set in the Star Wars universe. The graphical detail in the game is mind-blowing, and with the mixed responses from the game’s predecessor, Battlefront 2 shows us that EA and DICE listened to the fans. Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been highly anticipated since the announcement trailer first launch, looking to give players everything they had hoped for from the first game. With a plethora of multiplayer game modes returning, Battlefront 2 will also see the return of space combat which looks astronomically phenomenal both in and out of the cockpit. Another sorely missed addition to the game which will be making an appearance is a full campaign story mode where players will find themselves fighting on the side of the Empire as the leader of a specialist squad.
The game takes place between episodes 6 and 7, with events leading up to The Force Awakens. It will also include content across all of the Star Wars movies including the upcoming The Last Jedi. Combat will see the introduction of classes and custom loadouts. There has also been some controversy for the game about microtransactions, in which crates earned with in-game currency can be purchased for real money as well, although doing so does not give you a distinct advantage.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches November 17, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
