Spider-Man: Turf Wars DLC Video Review
With so much going on in the way of huge releases this year, you might be forgiven for forgetting that one of this years top Game of the Year contenders is still going strong with new DLC episodes. Spider-Man: Turf Wars continues the adventures of everyone’s favorite wall-crawler as Spidey goes head to head with another of his long-time villains: Hammerhead. While casual fans might not recognize the name, long time webheads will absolutely know what kind of danger Spider-Man is in taking on the volatile mobster, but just how does this new piece of DLC add to the game in terms of content? Spider-Man: Turf Wars is the latest DLC for the critically acclaimed title. In it, Spider-Man must take on the villain Hammerhead and the crime families of New York, all equipped with Sabletech weapons. Whereas the previous DLC was about stealth, Turf Wars dials up the frantic combat and will test players skills in the line of fire. Adding three new suits and a short but sweet story, Turf Wars is a serviceable DLC that could have used just a little more to really make it stand out. Overall, if you are a fan of Spider-Man – and really, who isn’t? – it’s worth it to take the challenge and dive head first into this DLC.
