South Park: The Fractured But Whole – First 30 Minutes

Reception for the latest adventure in South Park, Colorado has been overwhelmingly positive. With the long-awaited sequel to The Stick of Truth finally here, fans of the South Park series are seeing that all of that waiting was definitely worth it for the final product we ended up with. If you find yourself on the fence about picking up this delightfully raunchy RPG, Why not check out the first 30 minutes of gameplay from South Park: The Fractured But Whole and get a not so pleasant taste of what Coon and Friends have in store for you?

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the long-awaited sequel to The Stick of Truth. With the superheroes taking sides in their own civil war over whose movie franchises deserve the most focus, crime has sprouted across the city, and its up to the New Kid to help the heroes defeat villainy once and for all.

Players should expect the same level of mischievous humor and downright disturbing comedy as the show, taking on Catholic priests in a closet, to seducing drunk businessmen, combating Crab People, and so much more.

The Fractured But Whole is a total improvement over its predecessor, with a much-improved combat system, character creation, crafting, loot drops, and unlockable abilities. The game feels like an interactive movie more than a video game, but it comes across incredibly fresh and enjoyable.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. For more information, check out the games official website. To see what we thought of the game, see our Video review.
