Saros Video Review
Returnal proved that the roguelike genre is not limited to the indie market. Although it possessed high-level production values, the game carried the ethos of smaller titles, placing gameplay at the forefront of its addictive loop. Saros aims to refine what came before, but will it have the same impact as its predecessor?

Saros aims to add accessibility to its frantic, skill-driven shooter. Delivered through its ‘Come Back Stronger’ system, after each death, you can improve your skills to support each subsequent run. Also, whereas Returnal’s narrative was ambiguous, this aims to tell a more focused tale. Will these additions improve the overall experience or simply dilute it? Find out in our full video review below.
Saros is out on the 30th April, exclusively for PlayStation 5, and you can read our full review here. Is this what you wanted from the next Housemarque release? Do you think that this will eclipse Returnal? Would you like Sony to focus on more experimental titles like this rather than narrative-rich adventures?
