It’s been more than two long decades since the release of the original Resident Evil 3 and now Capcom has decided it’s the perfect time to bring this horror survival series back. Will it be as good as you remember it? Will this remaster be just as well done as the Resident Evil 2 remake?

Now if you’re not quite sure what to expect or you just never played the original Resident Evil 3 is a survival horror title that takes place before, and after the events of Resident Evil 2. Much like its predecessor, in RE3 you’ll play as Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveira, in a fight to survive the new biological outbreak within Raccoon City. And all whilst trying to escape from the clutches of the Nemesis. Can you survive not only this cannibal virus that threatens to end life as you know it in Raccoon City? Can you outwit the Nemesis? Your escape from the undead horde depends on it.
Regardless of whether you’ve played the original or not, this remake feels like a whole new game, and comes out of the gate swinging, with a whole new bag of tricks. And of course, with new, revitalized graphics, comes a higher level of detail for a game that’s already above its zombie genre. “Resident Evil 3 is a masterclass in what it means to be a remaster. Throughout your time in Raccoon City, you’ll feel the familiar beats of a story that’s been told for twenty years; however, you’ll also explore the exhilaration of experiencing something you love for the first time again.”
