Ori and The Will of the Wisps Full E3 Demo
When Ori and The Blind Forest came exclusively to Microsoft, Xbox owners were amazed at the power behind the title. With a heart wrenching story, incredible gameplay, and out of this world graphics, Ori was a quiet hit that Microsoft was beyond proud to call its own. It has been three years since its release, and this year at E3 2018 during the Microsoft conference we got a look at Ori and The Will of the Wisps, a sequel to the original hit game that delivers even more on the depth of emotion, presentation, and exquisite controls. At E3, we at COGconnected got our hands on the demo for Ori 2 and wanted to share with you, our audience, what you can expect from this adorable and heart warming platformer.
Ori returns in Ori and The Will of the Wisps, a huge platformer with heavy inspiration from the Metroidvania and Rayman style of gaming. Players will traverse large levels with uniquely challenging verticality, help those in need, defeat enemies, and collect everything they can find. Will of the Wisps has an absolutely magical presentation in its art style, with a dynamic background and simply stunning attention to detail of the stage and characters. Ori will unlock various abilities to help him travel each stage and it will only make the puzzles and locomotion challenges even more intricate as time goes on. Not much is known yet about the plot for Ori 2, but you can be sure it will tug at the heart strings.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps does not yet have a release date, but you can be sure it will come exclusively to PC and Xbox One. For more information on the game, check out the official website.
