NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… Video Review
After the surprise success of NieR Automata, fans have yearned for more games in the strange and complex world. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, Yoko Taro has remastered and remade elements of the original title so fans of the franchise can discover the origins of the mythical universe.
Sitting somewhere in between a remake and remaster, Nier Replicant has improved on various aspects that marred the original. Instantly, fans will notice that the visuals have had significant work. Gone are the murky backdrops and muddy textures and in its place are crisp environments and defined character models. Similar to Automata, Replicant features groundbreaking camera movement that shifts the gameplay through several genres. With a brand-new ending to unlock, additional sub-stories and costumes, could this be the ultimate title in the franchise? Check out our video review below to find out!
