Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is an open world, third-person JRPG with a linear story system that continues the anime-style art of the first game. The story follows the war between the Cat and Mouse tribes, as the Mouse tribe uses a coup d’etat to overthrow the boy king’s – Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum – rule. Evan encounters Roland, a visitor from another world who becomes his protector, and Tani, a daughter of air pirates. The game features combat using all three characters which can be swapped on the fly, as well as two kinds of open world – the combat system and an overworld which puts the characters in Chibi form.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is available March 23rd on PlayStation 4 and PC. For more information, check the game’s official website.
