NHL 20 is a Monster Package and Turning Point for the Franchise
Last year we saw the NHL series take more risks with backyard arenas, a great little story mode, tons of player customization, and the return of the wild arcade-inspired Threes mode. This year, EA has doubled down on their enhancements with hundreds of new animations, customization options, and life-like AI to bring the series to its most realistic iteration yet. Curious what that means for you, the discerning hockey nut? Check out our NHL 20 video below as we explore some of these new features in-depth.
NHL 20 is the latest entry in the long running hockey franchise. With the addition of backyard arenas and customizable casual clothes in the last game, NHL 20 is amping up with even more customization as well as new online challenge modes, impressive camera angles for replays, and entirely new recordings from the commentary table to give the audio a much needed facelift. Players will now execute specific signature movements they are known for while passing is more fluid than ever. The goalie AI has been enhanced to not only function as a proper challenge, but it will learn your patterns to try and stop you from scoring the same way twice in a row. All in all the game is shaping up to be the best we have ever seen in the series.
