Since the first trailer dropped when we only knew this strange game featured a duck, a pig, and a strange girl who could turn to stone, we’ve kept a close and watchful eye on what this new title could possibly be. What we didn’t expect was to see a narrative rich tactics-based strategy game. Mutant Year Zero has had an impressive journey leading to it’s release, giving us glimpses of a fantastic story in a post-apocalyptic world with incredibly rounded characters and a new take on classic gameplay. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is an immaculate combination of tactical turn-based strategy and rich RPG narrative. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in which nature has grown and overcome the trappings of the civilized world, players will use their skills and patience to make their way through densely packed stages as they band together on their journey to Eden; the fabled city of paradise.
