Middle-Earth: Shadow of War Video Review
When Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor first launched, not a lot of people were paying attention. It had become the norm for Middle-Earth titles to be bland or not quite worth your time, but Shadow of Mordor stepped up and created a groundbreaking new feature in the Nemesis system. For those who played it, Shadow of Mordor was the Tolkien-themed video game we needed all along, so when the sequel was announced we squealed with delight over second breakfast. Shadow of War continues the tale of Talion and Celebrimbor on their quest to defeat the dark lord Sauron. For all the hype and anticipation this game has behind it, we are proud to say that it holds true and you absolutely should be excited to get your hands on it. For our in-depth look at Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, check out our video review below.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War sees the return of the ranger, Talion, and the Elven ghost Celebrimbor in their war against Sauron. The pair have forged a new ring of power, granting them the ability to control their own army of Uruks in a massive siege against darkness.
The Nemesis system returns with a few tweaks that make it an even greater addition to the series, as well as adding loot, a more expansive skill tree, and all new abilities to the game. It also has a more expansive map, a new roster of characters, and a much stronger plot. All around, Shadow of War is proving to be a strong contender for Game of the Year.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is set for release on October 10, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more details on the game, check out their official website.
