The Last of Us Part 2 – Stealth Gameplay
Sure there will be situations where you need to throw down and go fist/brick/gun to fist in The Last of Us Part 2, but what brings players the game is stealth. The tense moments of trying to sneak through a broken down building, enemies just on the other side of the door. An infected human is devouring a helpless soul only feet away from you but maybe, just maybe you can squeeze by them without them seeing you. Stealth is the bread and butter of The Last of Us Part 2 and it is a feature that Naughty Dog absolutely nails. Without further adieu (however, with plenty of spoilers!) please enjoy our stealth gameplay video as you get a closer look at what Ellie will be going through on her much anticipated next adventure in the ruined United States.
The Last of Us Part 2 is a long awaited and highly anticipated sequel to the previous entry which launched seven years ago. Set five years after the events of the previous game with Ellie and Joel riding off into the unknown, Ellie is now nineteen years old and living among survivors who are simply trying to make a new life in the ruined world. Cordyceps fungus mutations and rampaging infected are not the only problem for Ellie to worry about anymore as a mysterious cult has appeared and threatens the survivors very way of life. The game perfectly features a blend of stealth and survival mechanics with a dash of crafting for upgrades and weapons. It also features an impressive array of accessibility options the likes of which we haven’t seen in gaming before.
The Last of Us Part 2 is available June 19 and is exclusive to the PlayStation 4. For more information check out the game’s official website, and be sure to watch our full, spoiler-free review of the game here.
