Incredible Graphical Details in The Last of Us Part 2
It’s has been seven long years since the release of The Last of Us, leaving us with a bittersweet ending that wrapped up the story of Ellie and Joel while leaving plenty of space for the tale to continue. Here we are, the eagerly awaited sequel before us, and in that time Naughty Dog has gone above and beyond to give us a game not only incredibly powerful in its narrative scope, but visually stunning to behold. You are going to see a lot of reviews giving The Last of Us Part 2 full marks across the board, and plenty of Lets Play videos to watch streamers progress through Ellie’s story, but we thought this would be a great chance to sit back and let the game do the talking. Enjoy this video highlighting the graphical majesty that is The Last of Us Part 2 for what is possibly the most impressive visuals on the PS4 to date.
The Last of Us Part 2 is set five years after the original and continues the story of survival in America, closely following Ellie. With the outbreak of the Cordyceps fungus infecting and mutating humans, turning them into grotesque, zombie-like creatures, Ellie and the other survivors must band together and adjust to the new state of the world. Ellie must use everything at her disposal to survive not only against the horrific creatures that dwell outside, but also a new and mysterious cult that has appeared. The game is based around survival and stealth mechanics with a strong reliance on crafting. It also features a whole host of new accessibility options for gamers the likes of which we simply haven’t seen in other games.
