Gods Will Fall Video Review
In a genre that has become massively overcrowded, it takes something special to climb above the competition and reach the summit of the roguelike genre. With Hades successfully damning competitors to hell, Gods Will Fall is hoping to slay the God of the underworld and take its place on the throne.
Tasked with taking down the Gods, you must guide your warrior through perilous dungeons in order to slay your foe. But beware, if you fail then your warrior is locked in that area until another of your 8 playable characters is able to clear the stage. Combining perma-death with the random nature of roguelike games is an intriguing premise and if correctly implemented, this could elevate the game over its competition. With stakes as high as this, can Gods Will Fall topple other giants in the genre? Check out our video review below to find out!
