First Look at Longshot 2 Homecoming – Madden NFL 19
In a time when sports games were starting to feel stale with the same formula every year, the Madden series caught us all by surprise with the inclusion of the Longshot mode: a heavy narrative-driven story about following your dream to make it to the big times. There was some serious acting power involved, a fantastic and compelling narrative, and a heartwarming tale of living your dreams. Madden saw they struck gold and for the upcoming sequel, announced Longshot 2 Homecoming. If you are looking forward to this new mode as much as we are, you’ll want to scope out the first 10 minutes of Longshot 2 below.
Longshot was a groundbreaking addition to the Madden series, and this year they want to push the narrative even further as Longshot 2 Homecoming continues the story of Devin Wade and Colt Cruise through their fantastic journey. Of course, Longshot isn’t the only reason to jump into Madden 19 this year: Madden Ultimate Team, Franchise, and the general gameplay have all been given huge overhauls and enhancements with EA listening to the fans on what they want to see changed and improved since the previous entry in the series.
