Strange Brigade is a Remarkably Satisfying and Sweet Co-op Experience

Gettin’ Some Strange in Strange Brigade

In a world of battle royale around every corner, it’s nice to see a four-player co-op shooter that takes a quirky step forward. Strange Brigade might not seem all that different at first glance, but as soon as the narrator chimes in with his over the top delivery and positivity, you know you are in for a wild ride. This game seems to be banking entirely on the character of the game, and from this clip of our time with the game at E3 2018, we get a strong idea of just how fun this character can be. Check out our gameplay footage below.

Strange Brigade is a co-op third-person shooter set in the 1930s. It mashes a few interesting components of other games like the aesthetics of Tomb Raider, the hording zombie enemies from your typical shooter, and the quirky yet lovable personality of the A-Team. Whether its the narrator give you old-timey advice, the black and white intro video to the stage, or the overconfidence the narrator has in the teams ability to handle anything that comes there way, this game screams kooky modern A-Team. The game can be played solo or co-op of up to three other players, and features a number of RPG mechanics like upgrading and modding weapons.

Strange Brigade is set for release on August 28th and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
