The Division 2 Beta Gameplay and Impressions

When The Division 2 was announced, hardcore fans of the original title were thrilled, however many of us saw only more of the same thing we had already come to expect from the Tom Clancy library of games. As more information was released, we could see that this wouldn’t be a simple cut and paste to make money but that Ubisoft was genuinely trying to make this a fresh experience for fans and newcomers alike. As the beta for the game rolled around, we had an opportunity to go hands-on with The Division 2 to see just what the fuss was all about and get an idea of what to expect. For our thoughts and opinions – with a little gameplay of course – check out the video below.

The Division 2 is an apocalyptic sequel and latest entry in the long-running Tom Clancy franchise. Set 7 months after the events of the original game, a civil war has broken out in Washington, D.C. as the survivors attempt to fend off against marauders and find some semblance of a new life. The Division 2 introduces a plethora of new features and options, including a new dynamic class system in which players will able to become specialists in particular weapons and forms of combat. The game is also set to include a ton of “games as a service” content as Ubisoft is known to do.

The Division 2 is set for release on March 15, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information check out the game’s official website.
