Outriders Boss Battle Gameplay
People Can Fly are making a lot of promises with their upcoming RPG shooter, Outriders, and from what we have seen so far, they are true to their word. This brand new IP is shaping up to be an epic sci-fi adventure with a strong focus on narrative, and their reputation as a company that builds gritty, visceral shooters has set the bar just a little higher for themselves to deliver on a truly great experience. We had the opportunity to go hands on with Outriders and see just what Enoch is going to have in store for us, and after a length play session of dealing with the insurgents and understanding how our powers worked as Altered, we faced off against one of our own; twisted and corrupted by the Anomaly. Outriders is an up to three player, drop in/ drop out co-op RPG shooter. Humanity has lost Earth due to pollution and war. As the planet died, two ark ships were sent out to find a new home to start over, discovering the planet of Enoch. As the dropships started to land, the Anomaly happened: an unknown and brutal storm that warps the laws of reality itself. Technology was destroyed, and humanity once again began fighting itself over scraps to survive. You are Altered; a human with incredible powers gifted by the Anomaly, but you are not the only one with such terrifying power. Outriders allows for several layers of customization in playing how you want: in how you choose to look, in how you choose to fight, and in how you choose to grow your powers. There is still much to be revealed about the game in time, but what we have seen so far is impressive to say the least.
