Destiny 2: Forsaken Video Review
Destiny 2 has had a rocky beginning (and middle), but Destiny 2: Forsaken is the kind of DLC that fills in those launch holes and makes the Destiny 2 worth looking at, whether you’re a loyal player or someone picking up the game for the first time. With a variety of changes from the traditional (you know, flawed) Destiny 2 format, Forsaken has a lot more to offer, from landscape to gameplay to story, and few flaws, all of which you can hear more about in the video below.
Sure, Destiny 2 shouldn’t have started out flawed, but at least Bungie is making amends by releasing a satisfying follow-up DLC, with improvements to the gameplay, a unique environment, and an enjoyable narrative arc. The new multiplayer hybrid mode, Gambit, is a win, both fun to play and great for getting new gear and leveling up. The only major flaw is the high cost of upgrading armor and equipment, which feels forced and doesn’t stand on its own merit. Destiny 2: Forsaken is nothing short of a phenomenal upgrade that turns the game into what it should have been at launch.
