Devil May Cry 5 Gameplay Video
The Devil May Cry series is lauded as one the finest examples of the hack and slash genre. Starting life in 2001, Dante instantly sliced the hearts of gamers from around the world. Going from strength to strength, last year saw the release of Devil May Cry 5 which took the franchise to new heights. Now releasing on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, players can experience what it’s like to slice and dice demonic creatures in beautiful, blood-soaked 4K.
Combat is at the core of the genre and Devil May Cry arguably perfects it. With the touch of your D-pad, you can instantly switch between four different combat styles that are more effective against particular enemy types. This adds depth to the overall combat system and allows for greater combos when juggling demons around a hellish environment. Capcom’s RE Engine is incredible and seeing how it can harness the power of the PS5 and Xbox Series X has us extremely excited for Resident Evil Village, but don’t just take my word for it, check out our gameplay video below.
