Dead or Alive 6 Review and Gameplay Videos
Dead or Alive 6 is a fighting game developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. It’s the sequel to Dead or Alive 5, and as you can imagine, Dead or Alive 1, Dead or Alive 2, Dead or Alive 3, and Dead or Alive 4. There are plenty of games between, inside, or around those titles as well. You know how gaming works…here’s looking at you Kingdom Hearts. For the tea on this particular fighting game, though, you should check out our video review below!
So, Dead or Alive 6 is a strange game. The plot’s disjointed, unlocking character outfits is frustrating, and you’re liable to burn out before the first DLC hits. However, as we said in our review, “In the realm of competitive play, moving up a rank brings a different breath of satisfaction. Plus, you learn a thing or two in rotating against skilled players. There’s loads of replayability, and I can’t wait for casual matchmaking so I can practice against players for kicks, no pun intended.” Maybe there are bad parts, sure, but there’s plenty to play for, and if you’re a Dead or Alive diehard there’s going to be plenty for you to enjoy. Our Ayane gameplay video below will kickstart the partying! After all, there’s nothing like seeing a little girl with glowing red eyes and purple hair kick some butt to get your day started.
To think, there are twenty-four (or twenty-six, depending on when you bought the game) characters out there to learn how to play. Intimidating…or challenging?
