Rise of the Ronin Now Available on PC With Exclusive Features

Carve Your Path in Rise of the Ronin

KOEI TECMO America and Team NINJA have brought their open-world action RPG Rise of the Ronin to Windows PC via Steam. Originally released on PlayStation 5, this immersive journey through Japan’s Bakumatsu era now offers enhanced features for PC players, including ultra-wide monitor support, 8K resolution, 120fps, 3D audio, and more.

Set in 1863, Rise of the Ronin unfolds during Japan’s turbulent transition from centuries of shogunate rule. As a masterless warrior, players shape their own fate in a world of political intrigue and war. The choices made, whether to protect or eliminate key figures, impact the story and lead to multiple endings.

The combat in the game is a deep and customizable experience as well. Players can wield katana, spears, and odachi, each with distinct fighting styles, alongside ranged weapons like bows and firearms. Strategy plays a key role, with different enemy types requiring different approaches. Exploration brings the beauty of Edo, Yokohama, and Kyoto to life, with seasonal changes adding realism to the landscapes. A grappling rope allows players to scale rooftops, while the Avicula glider offers aerial freedom. A photo mode lets players capture these stunning vistas.

The PC version introduces exclusive features like DirectX 12 Ultimate support, ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution, and customizable controls. Players who purchase before April 2, 2025, will unlock early bonuses, including four combat styles and the Iga Ninja armor set. Now is the perfect time to experience Rise of the Ronin in its most visually stunning and immersive form.
