Cyber Shadow E3 2019 Gameplay
Before Ninja Gaiden evolved into a third person hack-and-slash bloodfest, it was one of the coolest games around with sick ninja action, a tough but not insurmountable difficulty, and who doesn’t want to be a ninja? Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker has developed the coolest homage to classic Ninja Gaiden in the form of Cyber Shadow, an experience that is every bit as badass as the name sounds. Fans of classic side scrolling combat will be overjoyed at the gameplay and the soundtrack is definitely top-tier stuff. Check out this footage below and let us know what you think.
Cyber Shadow reaches deep into that 80s action-movie feel as you take on the role of Shadow, a ninja seeking to set the world right after it has been taken over by synthetic lifeforms. The game features authentic 8-bit handcrafted sprites for that retro feel blended with fluid animations and a few modern touches to bring the genre up to speed with current gaming standards while remaining true to the gameplay and difficulty of the classic age of gaming. The story is told through in-game dialogue as well as animated cut scenes, and it will feature a number of Ninjitsu upgrades as you progress through the story and try to save both your clan and the world.
