Children of Morta 4K Gameplay E3 2018
With so many huge announcements all throughout E3 it is important not to overlook the fantastic work indie developers put into their titles. Stepping into some haunting yet vibrant procedurally generated horror, Children of Morta pits you against endless hordes of darkness. While the official release date has yet to be locked in, the Steam community is itching at the chance to dive into this mystery filled universe. At E3 we were given the opportunity to go hands-on and we couldn’t be happier with what 11 Bit Studios had in store. Check out our gameplay footage below.
Children of Morta is a procedurally generated horror dungeon crawler where the player takes on the role of the Bergson family. Guardians of the Mountain of Morta, darkness has seeped into the land and the wildlife that lives there, corrupting them into vile and twisted things. Play as any member of the Bergson family, each with unique skills as you hack and slash through the darkness and try to rid the land of evil. The art style is impressive and reinforces the fact you don’t need million dollar graphics to tell a compelling – and more importantly fun – story.
