30 Minutes of Stealth, Ship Combat, and More from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Stealth, Combat, and Ship Battle Gameplay

With the latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise only a week away, fans are looking for every morsel of information they can get on Odyssey. While Origin’s was a great step into overhauling and quietly rebooting the franchise, Odyssey takes the progress it made and pushes Assassin’s Creed into full on RPG territory. While we can’t tell you just yet what we think of the game, we are more than happy to provide you with footage of what Odyssey will bring to the table upon its release.

First up we have footage of Alexios taking on one of the mercenaries in one on one combat. You’ll get a chance to see some of the new unlockable abilities featured in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as well as some of the nuances of combat.

One of the defining games in the Assassin’s Creed franchise was Black Flag, due largely in part to its overwhelmingly brilliant naval combat and easy to use controls. Origins gave us a small taste of that again with Aya’s missions, however a game set in the Mediterranean definitely needs to have some serious time out on the water. Odyssey looks to blend the gorgeous style and simple controls of Black Flag with the more historical combat tactics seen in Origins. Check out the footage of our time out at sea below.

And finally, what would an Assassin’s Creed game be without some serious stealth gameplay? Here we see Alexious invading an Athenian fort. It’s brutal, it’s beautiful, and it’s exactly the kind of gameplay we want. Enjoy.

What do you think of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? Are you pumped to jump into Ancient Greece and lay down some of the must brutal kills the franchise has seen yet? Let us know your thoughts on the game on Facebook, Twitter, or the Comments section below.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set for launch October 5 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information check out the game’s official website.
