Segin Squad Badge Guide
In addition to the regular Gym battles, there’s a whole mess of delinquents to trounce in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Here’s a few tips on taking care of Giacomo and the Segin Squad.
The first step is always a frantic series of Auto Battles. You’ve got to take out 30 Pokemon in 10 minutes using only the top three Pokemon in your roster. If you’re low on energy, there’s vending machines scattered around the battlefield. Make sure you pick the right three fighters, or else this section is a real slog. After that, it’s time to face down the boss.
Giacomo is a Dark type trainer. He starts things off with a Pawniard, a level 21 Steel/Dark type. Fire moves work okay, but Fighting moves work much better. Once Pawniard is out of the way, you’ve got to contend with a Dark type Revavroom. It’s a boss-style Pokemon battle, but it’s only level 20. So you just need some punchy Fighting, Bug, or Fairy moves to win the day. After Revavroom is finished, the Segin Squad Badge is yours.
