How To Get the Medali Gym Badge in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Medali Gym Badge Guide

If you’re lost when it comes to this gym, I don’t blame you. Here’s a quick guide to the Medali Gym Badge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How To Get the Medali Gym Badge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The Gym Test this time is a bit more convoluted. You’ve got to successfully order the secret menu item at the Treasure Eatery. You get the first clue, then you need to find three more from trainers scattered around Medali. Clue #1 is how the regulars season their dishes. One trainer tells you to look for a dark spot surrounded by stairs. You’re also instructed to listen closely to the blue bird Pokemon. Finally, you have to track down the odd one out at one of the ice cream stands. All of this leads you to a medium serving of the Grilled Rice Balls, cooked extra crispy style and seasoned with lemon. From there, the battle takes place right in the restaurant.

The level 35 Komala and Dudunsparce are straight Normal types. Fighting moves will lay them out. Staraptor is a Normal/Flying hybrid. Oddly enough, their Tera type is also Normal. Ice, Electric, and Rock moves will win the day. If you can survive its Aerial Ace and Facade attacks, you’re in the clear. After that, the Medali Gym Badge is all yours.
