3. Deltarune: Chapters 3 + 4 – June 5
Undertale is one of the biggest phenomenons in modern gaming. Its sequel, Deltarune, is split into 5 chapters. The first 2 chapters were given away for free on PS4, Switch, and PC. Deltarune: Chapters 3 + 4 are a massive continuation, that will be an actual paid game. It’s releasing as a part of the Switch 2’s launch day, but will be available for everything except Xbox. Fans of quirky RPGs and experimental storytelling already know Deltarune is a must-play. June must be an incredible release month if the sequel to Undertale is only the #3 game on the Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2025.
2. Mario Kart World – June 5
Nintendo really wants Mario Kart World to be the #1 game on the Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2025. It’s the massive brand new game for the Switch 2 launch. Mario Kart 8 is incredibly content-packed, so Mario Kart World shakes things up by creating an open world to explore and race in. It actually sounds a lot like a spiritual successor to Diddy Kong Racing for the N64. Nintendo says this new game is so content-loaded, that it demands a $110 CAD price tag. At least the full game is on the cartridge.
1. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach – June 26
Have you seen the trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach? It looks like it will have the most epic, insane, and emotional game narrative ever! Any game directed by Hideo Kojima is likely going to be the top game on a list like the Top 5 Video Games Arriving in June 2025. Hopefully Death Stranding 2 will have more fun gameplay out of the gate. The original took some getting used to. Either way, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’s release will be an important day for video games.
