Stephan Adamus (Contributor) – Red Dead Redemption
Who’d’ve thunk that miles of flat land could be so interesting!? So much has been said of Red Dead Redemption already, but I want to let readers know that the third (and fourth) acts of the game’s story are incredible and that they’ll never forget the first time they cross the border into that second major area. And the Undead Nightmare DLC would win my pick for best DLC ever.
Michael Chow (Contributor) Â –Â Fallout 3
War. War never changes, but unfortunately, Fallout 4 was changed quite a bit from Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Fallout 3 was my first foray into this post-apocalyptic series and it remains my favorite to this day. It may not have been surprising for fans of the series, but I thoroughly enjoyed how dialogue options changed based on your character’s attributes and how there are many paths in certain missions.
Anthony Bacchus (Contributor) – Batman: Arkham CityÂ
Batman: Arkham City is the ultimate superhero sequel that gets everything right. I love Arkham Asylum too, but Arkham City kicks it up a notch with a better story and higher stakes, a large enough playground that never feels overwhelming, and an overall more satisfying final act that sticks with you long after the credits have rolled. Yes, it’s the best Batman game ever, but it’s also an amazing adventure game regardless of the Batman license.
That does it for number 7 but tune in tomorrow for our number 6 selections! As always, we’d love to hear your picks in the comments below!
