Cuisineer is a restaurant management sim, mixed with a roguelite isometric dungeon crawling action RPG. While this might sound like an intriguing combination for some, the whole package lacks depth and variety. The tutorials are unclear. And the whole game lacks polish. Our reviewer concluded “If you’re into low-stakes dungeon crawling with a side of cute restaurant management, you might find some enjoyment here, but be prepared for some frustration with its unpolished mechanics”. All these issues make Cuisineer an easy inclusion in The Bad section of The Three Best (and Worst) Video Games from February 2025.
Eternal Strands

Eternals Strands is the first game, by a new studio led by Bioware and Ubisoft veterans. It’s an open world third person action adventure game, where the player gets to use different elemental powers. Eternal Strands looks great, and has lots of interesting ideas, but the execution of all the gameplay is very messy. Our reviewer also hated the early missions. They concluded “the game is brimming with strong ideas, but none are executed well enough to leave a lasting impression”. Eternal Strands was a promising new title, but has enough flaws to land itself soundly in The Bad section of The Three Best (and Worst) Video Games from February 2025.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is a collection of Tomb Raider games from after the developer lost interest in the series, but was asked to continue. There is evidence of a lot of love that went into this collection. Our reviewer had one major problem with it though: the updated “modern” controls are even worse than the original tank controls. They did admit that they didn’t have any longtime experience with the original Tomb Raider games, and offered the perspective that “By fumbling the modern controls, new fans face instant alienation”. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered scored 55/100 which makes it easy to include in The Bad section of The Three Best (and Worst) Video Games from February 2025.
