Number 1 – He-Man and Man-At-Arms
He-Man and Man-At-Arms! Perfect. Just freaking perfect. There was no politely taking a picture of them with all the other photographers; I had to get in there. I was unable to hide my joy at seeing these gentlemen perfect my favorite childhood cartoon.
So there you have it, my Top 5 cosplays form ECCC. There were lots of other great costumes, but these were the money ideas!
The Emerald City Comicon was a great event. If you’ve never been to a Con before, I highly recommend dressing up. Every time I’ve thought of going in my recreation clothes, I’ve been bullied into dressing up, and it really does enhance the experience. It gives folks a reason to strike up conversations with each other, and really creates a stronger community. And if you dress up as something as silly as E. Honda, it’s guaranteed to bring a smile to a lot of faces.
