The Feels – Detroit: Become Human
After going hands-on with the game we walked away feeling like we were punched in the gut. Emotionally taught and dripping with raw emotion it made the hair on our arms stand up. The Feels is always one of our most hotly contested E3 Best in Show awards, but this year was no contest with Detroit: Become Human in the running.
Best Multiplayer Game – Skull and Bones
Cannons, ships, and pirates are just cool. We played a game of 5 vs 5 which was absolutely amazing. We hunted treasure and engaged in ferocious naval warfare with rival pirates. Yes, we got our asses handed to us but Skull & Bones was a blast either way!
Best Sports Game – Everybody’s Golf
If you’ve played Hot Shots Golf, then you know exactly what to expect here. Featuring vibrant visuals and tight gameplay, Everybody’s Golf is a boat load of fun.
Best Indie Game – The Last Night
Featuring graphics that manage to blend gorgeous pixel art with 3D environments, The Last Night has a Blade Runner feel and could be a sleeper indie hit. Slick doesn’t even begin to describe the aesthetic of this bad boy.
