5 Things We Love About God Eater Resurrection
To celebrate its comeback from the original PSP launch as well as the upcoming localization of its sequel, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, we chose the top 5 things we love about God Eater Resurrection. If you haven’t gotten your hands on it or are just on the cusp of delving into the series, this list may be the driving force that’ll get you started with the game. Also, don’t forget to check out our review of the game here.
1. Updated/Remastered Visuals
One of the most important features in an updated or remastered game is its enhanced visuals. Not only does God Eater Resurrection have enhanced visuals, but also has reconfigured event scenes to be suitable for the PS Vita, PS4, and PC. Given that God Eater Resurrection is an updated version of God Eater Burst, there’s not only a 6 year gap, but also a jump from the PSP to the PS Vita/PS4/PC.
2. Extra Story Content
Like mentioned above, since God Eater Resurrection is an updated version of God Eater Burst, all the story content from it is present in God Eater Resurrection. What is new, however, is an additional story segment between God Eater Resurrection and God Eater 2 Rage Burst that ultimately connects the two for a smoother transition. Since God Eater 2 Rage Burst isn’t out until August 30th here in the west, what better way to get hyped for it than this bonus story?
3. Predator Style
With an updated game comes new content. In this case, God Eater Resurrection offers a new attack style called ‘Predator Style’. By simultaneously dealing damaging and acquiring stat boosts, players get to take a bite (literally) with their God Arc weapon all while in midair or during a high-speed dash. Not only does it perform ferociously, but it also looks deadly.
