2. Learn Your Heroes
Not all heroes are created equal. The game will start you off three heroes to choose from out of 17, with more on the way. Heroes will each have their own unique skills, attacks, and passive abilities that will need to be learned and managed. This is going to play into the action portion of the game, as you’ll want to experiment with which play style suits you. Some heroes specialize in getting up close and personal, others like to stay at a range and pick the enemy off from afar. Learning the quirks and skills of your heroes will let you figure out the best possible combination of action and tower defense to suit your needs.
1. Keep Your Chin Up
You are going to lose. A lot. In the early goings of the game, the Orc’s numbers are vast, your hero is inexperienced, and your traps may as well have been built by a boy scout. I’m not saying it’s impossible to win, but the odds are stacked against you in the early stages of the game. As the power of both your arm and your traps increases, you’ll find that pesky horde of Orcs are more like gnats. Even if you aren’t able to complete all of the waves, you will still gain experience and currency to improve yourself. It can be frustrating to be overwhelmed at the beginning of the game, but with a little hard work, you’ll find the enemy is no match for your mad skills of decimation.
