Tile Tales: Pirate Sets Sail for Switch On November 19 With Discounted Pre-Orders

Get Ready to Hunt for Treasure in Tile Tales: Pirate

Pirate adventures are getting a puzzle-filled twist as Tile Tales: Pirate prepares to make its way to Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2026. Developer NineZyme OÜ has opened pre-orders through the Nintendo eShop, giving interested players a chance to grab the game with a 40% discount during the two-week pre-order period.

Priced at US$5.99 / €5.99 at its regular rate, the game follows a rather unfortunate, gold-obsessed pirate on a journey across a mysterious island in search of the ultimate treasure. Instead of relying on swords and cannonballs, players will need to put their brains to work by sliding tiles to create paths through 60 handcrafted logic puzzles spread across six chapters.

The adventure also features colourful characters, tricky obstacles, and humorous story sequences that add personality to the puzzle-solving experience. Every completed challenge brings the pirate one step closer to his treasure, although getting there won’t always be easy.

The Nintendo Switch release also benefits from several improvements, including smoother onboarding, better-balanced difficulty progression, an additional speaking character, and various quality-of-life updates. The game supports subtitles and interface translations in 16 languages, making it more accessible to players worldwide.

Those who don’t want to wait for the Switch launch can already pick up the updated version on Steam, iOS, Android, and the Mac App Store. Windows, macOS, and Linux players can also find it on itch.io.

With its lighthearted pirate story and satisfying puzzle mechanics, Tile Tales: Pirate looks like a fun little adventure to add to your Switch library this November.
