Assemble Your Party in Underkeep
Get ready to dust off your adventuring gear, as Underkeep, an old-school dungeon-crawling RPG inspired by the classics of the ’90s, is officially launching on November 5, 2026. The game will arrive on Windows PC via Steam and GOG, bringing back the nostalgic feel of classic dungeon crawlers with grid-based movement, turn-based combat, and beautifully hand-drawn visuals.
Drawing inspiration from beloved titles such as Dungeon Master, Lands of Lore, Eye of the Beholder, Wizardry, and Ishar, Underkeep takes players on a dangerous fantasy adventure. Well, as usual, the journey is full of forgotten dungeons, mysterious characters, and secrets waiting to be uncovered.
Players will put together a party of four adventurers, each bringing unique abilities and spells to the journey. Building the right team will be essential, as players can combine skills and upgrade their characters. They will also get to experiment with different equipment to create powerful combat synergies.
The adventure stretches across dense forests, vast plains, dangerous swamps, and ancient dungeons. Along the way, players will encounter dozens of monsters, solve challenges, uncover hidden treasures, complete quests, and make decisions that can influence how certain events unfold. Its combat system also encourages players to think ahead, exploit enemy weaknesses, and make the most of their party’s abilities.
Underkeep promises around 15–20 hours of exploration and adventure, with full controller support alongside traditional mouse and keyboard controls.
For players who grew up exploring dangerous dungeons in classic RPGs, Underkeep could be a welcome trip down memory lane. Its release is just around the corner, so make sure to check it out if fantasy adventures are your thing.
