These Alien Ducks Are Taking Over Steam in QUIET
LINE Games’ co-op horror comedy QUIET is already making waves on Steam, claiming the No. 1 spot in Steam Scream V Fest’s Top Demos category less than 24 hours after the festival began on October 26. The achievement comes shortly after the game launched its first-ever demo, which players can download for free on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The game has already attracted considerable attention ahead of this milestone. During its first public playtest, QUIET received more than 350,000 sign-ups and brought together 271,132 players from 148 countries. Now, its latest demo gives players even more reasons to jump into the chaos, introducing a new four-player “Duck Out” Arcade Stage, a redesigned spaceship-themed waiting room, and special Halloween content.
QUIET puts players in control of alien ducks stranded on Earth, with the flock tasked with searching a house for the parts needed to repair their spaceship. However, gathering supplies is only half the challenge, as players must also avoid whatever might be lurking nearby.
Designed for one to four players online, the game mixes cooperative gameplay with horror and comedy, turning even the smallest noise into a potential disaster. A careless quack, a dropped object, or a panicked scream could attract unwanted attention, making teamwork and keeping quiet essential to survival.
Steam Scream V Fest runs until November 2, giving curious players plenty of time to try the demo. Those interested can download it now on Steam or the Epic Games Store and wishlist the game on Steam for future updates.
