GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT Shows Off Its Explosive Combat
Bandai Namco Entertainment America has unveiled a new gameplay walkthrough trailer for GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, giving fans a closer look at the upcoming action game’s fast-paced combat, mission structure, and deep mobile suit customization ahead of its March 5, 2027 launch. The trailer follows Rex, the pilot of the Gundam Helix, as he takes on the terrifying forces unleashed by the Apocalypse. Players begin each mission aboard the special service craft Stellarvane before heading into battle. Here, the Gundam Helix can zip across the battlefield using its multi-directional movement while cutting through waves of enemies.
Customization will also play a major role in how players approach each fight. Before deploying, players can tweak the Gundam Helix’s weapons, frame, skills, and color scheme to build a mobile suit that matches their preferred playstyle.
Those custom builds will be put to the test against some seriously massive enemies. Players will need to identify and attack their unique weak points while managing their abilities carefully. The Over-rise system can dramatically boost the Gundam Helix’s performance, while the powerful AP Unit Burst gives players a devastating option for turning the tables when battles get intense.
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT will launch on March 5, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are currently available across Standard, Launch, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions.
