The Legend of Zelda Is Coming to Life
Hasbro has announced a new multi-year licensing partnership with Nintendo to develop toys based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. The collaboration will begin in 2027, giving a new lineup of collectibles inspired by one of gaming’s most beloved series.
The first products from the partnership will make their debut at San Diego Comic-Con. The event will take place from July 23 to July 26, 2026. Hasbro plans to reveal three new 6-inch-scale action figures. Hence, offering fans an early look at what the collaboration has in store.

The Legend of Zelda has remained one of Nintendo’s most iconic franchises for decades. It has earned a loyal fanbase through its memorable characters, rich world-building, and adventurous gameplay. Since its U.S. debut in 1987, the series has followed the legendary conflict between Link, Princess Zelda, and the villainous Ganondorf across the kingdom of Hyrule. The franchise has become one of the most influential action-adventure franchises in gaming history.
“For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters and enduring sense of discovery,” said Billy Lagor, President Toys and Board Games at Hasbro. “By combining Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s leadership in action and role-play, we’re delivering toys that invite fans to play, explore and forge their own epic adventures.”
While Hasbro has yet to reveal additional details about the toy lineup. However, this announcement marks an exciting new chapter for Zelda fans and collectors. With the first figures set to be unveiled later this month, fans won’t have to wait long to see how the legendary world of Hyrule is being brought to life in toy form.
