Welcome to the Phantom Tower
Horien Studio has officially launched Phantom Tower in Steam Early Access, bringing its fast-paced roguelike action RPG to players after four years of development. The game is available for $12.99 (€12.99/£11.75), with a 24% launch discount available during its first two weeks. To celebrate the release, the developer has also unveiled a brand-new launch trailer.
In Phantom Tower, players step into a mysterious tower that has drawn adventurers from across the world with promises of power and glory. While countless warriors have attempted to conquer it, none have ever reached the summit. Players must fight through increasingly dangerous floors, where every run presents new challenges, tougher enemies, and valuable rewards.
The game features eight unique character classes, each offering its own combat style, abilities, and elemental affinity. Combat revolves around four elements, Ignis, Aqua, Terra, and Venti, which can be swapped during battle to create 16 powerful elemental reactions. Experimenting with these combinations allows players to freeze enemies, spread destructive status effects, or unleash devastating chain attacks that can quickly turn the tide of battle.
Outside of combat, Phantom Tower offers plenty of progression. Players can collect more than 200 pieces of gear, including 128 weapons across six weapon types, while the Soulbinder system lets them permanently improve equipment and specialize their favorite stats. As players climb higher, they can also unlock 47 unique Tower Blessings that introduce game-changing abilities and encourage powerful build combinations.
With its challenging roguelike gameplay, deep character customization, and rewarding progression system, Phantom Tower offers plenty of reasons to keep coming back for another climb. If you enjoy mastering difficult action RPGs where every run feels different, this is one Early Access release worth keeping an eye on.
