Prepare to Enter a Town in Star’s End in Nimbit Frontier
Megasploot has announced that its cozy creature-collecting life simulator Nimbit Frontier will launch in Steam Early Access on August 17, 2026, inviting players to explore a relaxing world centered on conservation rather than combat.

Set in the peaceful frontier town of Star’s End, Nimbit Frontier puts players in charge of restoring lost species known as Nimbits. Instead of training creatures for battles, the game focuses on caring for them, creating habitats tailored to their needs, helping them grow, and eventually releasing them into protected sanctuaries where they can flourish in the wild once again.
Beyond creature care, the game offers plenty of activities to keep players busy. Adventurers can venture into the mysterious Underwild through roguelike expeditions, where they’ll recover genetic fragments from Mimocks, gather valuable resources, and discover many things. Players can also spend their downtime fishing, collecting museum specimens, upgrading tools, decorating habitats, and building friendships with the residents of Star’s End. Those looking for a deeper connection can even pursue romantic relationships with townsfolk.
Interestingly, the announcement also notes that the game can be enjoyed solo or with up to four players in online co-op, giving friends the chance to explore and restore the world together.
Nimbit Frontier seems like a refreshing take on the creature-collecting genre by placing conservation and community at the heart of its gameplay. With its charming world and relaxing activities, it could become a cozy adventure worth keeping an eye on when it arrives in Steam Early Access this August.
